As a voting member of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), KAB attended the 2024 IAF-ILAC Joint Annual Meetings to participate in key decision-making and stay updated on global industry trends.

The conference, held in Berlin, Germany from October 1 to October 10, featured a series of important sessions. KAB took part in the Technical Committee (TC), General Assembly (GA), and Working Groups (WGs) related to standards such as ISO/IEC 17011 and ISO/IEC 17021. In addition, KAB participated in the IAF MD Document Revision TF, the IAF Accreditation Bodies Information Exchange Group, the MLA Committee, and the PR Experts Meeting (JWGC & CMC).

Over the course of the ten-day event, significant discussions covered a variety of topics, including document revisions, the launch of GLOBAC (the Global Accreditation Cooperation), and the application of artificial intelligence in conformity assessment.

KAB plans to review the outcomes of this meeting in detail and share key information with relevant stakeholders including certification bodies.
