o The KAB recognizes the importance of accreditations for the nation's industrial competitiveness, carries out accreditations in accordance with laws and ISO/IEC 17011, contributing to the quality growth of industries and strengthening of internal capacities by raising domestic industrial competitiveness and promoting overseas trade.

o In order to reinforce the international acceptance of certification results, the KAB actively participates in international multilateral recognition arrangements (e.g. IAF, MLA, etc.), and complies with the related international criteria. Also, through close relationship and cooperation with international organizations and foreign accreditation bodies, the KAB reviews and reflects the good practices to its work in an effort to internationalize and advance accreditations.

o The KAB establishes effective communication systems to examine the demands and needs of those involved in accreditations and seeks various cooperation methods to achieve greater reliability and value of its accreditations, improving the quality of accreditations continuously.

o The KAB does its best to maximize and secure specialties in human capacities of accreditations.

o The KAB guarantees that quality policies are understood, implemented and maintained throughout all levels of the KAB.
